Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Systems Engineer - Model & Simulation for THAAD Missile. You will help establish technical solutions for a vital missile defense system and work with top engineers to meet performance, cost, and schedule goals.

You will use simulations to guide design, develop flight software, and integrate subsystem models with the system model to deliver a comprehensive assessment of performance. A bachelor's in a relevant field and clearance eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• BS in a relevant field; systems engineering, aerospace, physics, or math.
• Familiarity with system analysis functions and trade studies.
• Programming for scientific computing (MATLAB, Fortran, C++).
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance (US citizenship).

Responsibilities

• Use models/simulations to predict performance and allocate requirements.
• Develop and maintain THAAD interceptor flight simulation software.
• Apply systems engineering to monitor subsystem development and ensure performance.
• Integrate models and test results for a complete system perspective.
