Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Grand Prairie, TX seeks a Tool Engineer to lead the THAAD tooling team. You will guide design, procurement, internal manufacturing builds, and supplier visits to define the path forward for the group and related program activities.

The role requires collaboration across Manufacturing Engineering, Design, Systems, Quality, and Global Supply Chain, with frequent cross-country communication and DoD clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in an engineering field.
• Strong capability to interpret drawings and schematics.
• Experience with GD&T and CAD software is essential.
• Must be able to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the tooling team and coordinate across stakeholders.
• Design, procure, and support tooling for production and development.
• Oversee internal manufacturing builds, proposals, and maintenance.
• Travel to supplier sites and production floors as needed.
