Job summary

Danfoss Maumee, OH, seeks a Senior Test Technician to join the Test Laboratory team. The role focuses on hydraulic testing, data collection, and ensuring safe, accurate testing of fluid conveyance products.

You will troubleshoot electrical and electro-mechanical systems, operate test equipment, and collaborate with engineers on system upgrades and lab improvements. A strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in technical, industrial, laboratory, manufacturing, testing, maintenance, or related environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, engineering specifications, and testing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hydraulic testing and testing of fluid conveyance products per engineering specs and standards.
• Set up, operate, adjust, and maintain test equipment for repeatable results.
• Collect, analyze, and document performance data; prepare engineering test reports.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, electro-mechanical, PLC, instrumentation, and control system issues.
• Support engineers in upgrades to hydraulic test systems and lab infrastructure.
• Participate in continuous improvement, lab modernization, and safety initiatives.
