Job summary

Danfoss in Plymouth, MN is seeking a Lab Tech Intern to gain hands-on experience with hydraulic systems in a real engineering lab setting. You will work alongside experienced engineers, set up and modify test stands, collect data, and help troubleshoot to drive safe, reliable lab operations.

Ideal candidates are pursuing or have completed an Associate’s degree in a technical field, with foundational hydraulics knowledge and a practical, problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed an Associate’s degree in a technical field.
• Solid foundational knowledge of hydraulics and hydraulic systems.
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude and curiosity for troubleshooting.
• Eagerness to learn quickly, take initiative, and work collaboratively.
• Must be within commutable distance to Plymouth, MN and able to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Get hands-on experience by helping set up and modify hydraulic test stands for a variety of products.
• Learn how to run hydraulic tests, collect data, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Support 5S initiatives and help keep the lab organized.
• Assist with the build-out of new test stands and equipment.
• Create and maintain documentation for test procedures with precision.
