Job summary

Saf--holland-5 is seeking a hands-on Test Technician to join our engineering team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will work with advanced testing equipment, prototype products, and cross-functional engineers to develop, evaluate and improve products.

You will perform testing, fabricate components, and maintain test equipment to ensure accurate results. A strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years in hydraulics, machine shop, fabrication or welding.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience with testing equipment and lab environments.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing according to procedures and provide detailed results to engineering teams.
• Set up and operate servo-hydraulic testing equipment.
• Fabricate parts, fixtures, and components needed for testing.
• Record, document, and prepare test reports and data logs.
• Inspect and verify calibration status of testing equipment prior to use.
• Maintain hydraulic units, fixtures, and testing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair damaged test fixtures and components.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications; collaborate with engineers.
• Ensure ISO and QMS compliance; maintain safety and quality.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
