Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, in Louisville, KY, seeks a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer — Test to lead design and deployment of automated test technologies across our manufacturing network. You’ll drive test system development, equipment integration, and data-powered improvements for NPI and RTP initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering field.
• 5 years of hands-on, relevant experience in test engineering, controls engineering, or electrical/instrumented manufacturing equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred: Master’s degree and experience with NPI, systems integration, and equipment interface development.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, specification, and implementation of electrical, instrumentation, and automated test systems.
• Partner with equipment project teams to define requirements and enable deployment of test capabilities.
• Convert equipment data into actionable insights for operations and quality teams.
• Evaluate sensor technologies and test approaches to ensure process capability and quality.
• Collaborate across product design, manufacturing, quality, and controls teams on DFMA/DFT considerations.
• Lead or support procurement and deployment of test-related technologies and architectures.
