Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, seeks a Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer – Test Systems to manage quality test manufacturing systems and final product testing in Louisville, KY. The role focuses on preventing nonconforming testing events across Door, Case, Sealed System, and Electrical Assembly areas.

You will develop and implement new test methods, drive improvements through the CIB process, and maintain calibration of test equipment while collaborating with Process Improvement Engineers

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or equivalent with 5 years of demonstrated success in manufacturing quality disciplines.
• 3–5 years of troubleshooting and supporting manufacturing test equipment.
• Experience with manufacturing quality/NPI quality projects and data-driven process improvement.
• Experience interpreting data to solve problems using statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new and improved test methods to enhance capabilities and quality.
• Review daily assembly line test loops for equipment failure and coordinate repairs.
• Provide factory support and first response to production issues surrounding test equipment.
• Maintain calibration and preventative maintenance of test equipment and manage spare parts.
