Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on controls engineering in automated manufacturing.
• Experience with Rockwell ControlLogix/CompactLogix hardware & software, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View.
• Knowledge of machine safety standards (ISO 13849, ANSI/A3 R15.06).

Responsibilities

• Support capital equipment procurement from concept through production launch.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions.
• Provide control systems engineering support across projects (automation, conveyance, packaging, fabrication).
• Review designs for compliance with internal standards.
• Contribute to GE Appliances standards updates.
• Prioritize safety with EHS involvement.
• Collaborate with automation and robotics teams on innovative solutions.
• Assist factory teams in implementing and troubleshooting new systems.
