GE Appliances, a Haier company, is seeking a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer – Test in Louisville, KY. You will design, implement, and optimize automated test systems across the manufacturing network to improve product quality and efficiency.

You will lead cross-functional efforts with design, manufacturing, quality, and controls teams, deploying test technologies and data-driven solutions. Strong collaboration and problem-solving are essential for success.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in test engineering, controls engineering, or electrical/instrumented manufacturing equipment.
• Master’s degree preferred in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with NPI projects, systems integration, and equipment interface development.

Mansioni

• Support design, specification, and implementation of electrical, instrumentation, and automated test systems in manufacturing and lab environments.
• Collaborate with equipment project teams to define requirements and enable deployment of test capabilities.
• Convert equipment and product verification data into actionable insights for operations and quality teams.
• Evaluate sensor technologies and test approaches for reliability and quality.
• Incorporate DFMA and DFT considerations into product/process development.
• Lead or support procurement, installation, and qualification of test equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform root-cause analysis to implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance on test strategies, electrical systems, and equipment integration.
• Support standardization and continuous improvement across test systems.
