Job summary

Benchmark Electronics in Minnesota, Rochester seeks a Test Technician to support and debug test processes in manufacturing. You will perform component-level test/debug, maintain testers, and train operators while collaborating with Test Engineers and leadership to improve processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in test/debug or similar manufacturing roles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in reading electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Performs debug and test assemblies to component level using diagrams and schematics.
• Performs tester maintenance and upkeep.
• Troubleshoots operator problems and supports training and process improvements.
• Provides training and ongoing support to Test operators.
• Communicates problems to Test Engineer or leader.
• Assists in experiments for failure analysis and root cause analysis.
