Job summary

Benchmark is seeking a Test Technician to provide support and debugging for PCB and PCBA test processes in Minnesota. The role emphasizes hands-on debugging, tester maintenance, and collaboration with engineers to improve processes.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of experience, a 2-year engineering/technical degree, and strong analytical and communication skills. The position is safety-sensitive with a 24/7 global operations capability and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in test manufacturing and debugging
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Effective multitasking and strong organizational abilities
• Ability to train diverse groups and provide operator support
• Proficient in reading electrical schematics and test diagrams
• Strong customer service orientation and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Performs debug and test assemblies to component level using schematics and block diagrams
• Maintains testers and performs upkeep to ensure accuracy
• Troubleshoots operator problems and contributes to process improvements
• Provides training and ongoing support to Test operators
• Communicates problems to Test Engineer and/or lead
• Assists in experiments for failure analysis and root cause analysis
• Participates in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen continuous improvement activities
