Job summary

Marotta Controls is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the development of Special and/or Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for the PAS business unit. The candidate should have a background in Electrical or Computer Engineering with demonstrated skills in the development of power supply, motor control, and power distribution unit test systems.

This on-site role at our Parsippany, NJ office offers a competitive compensation package, including a pay range of $110,000 to $130,000 per year,

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical or Software Engineering or similar required.
• 7+ years in test engineering / test equipment design for power electronics testing.
• Experience designing test systems using a Test Console and ITA.

Responsibilities

• Design test systems including Test Consoles and Interface Test Adapters (ITA).
• Develop TE SRR, TE PDR/CDR, and Test Equipment Validation Procedures/Reports.
• Use lab equipment (power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes) and automate testing.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with test equipment systems and determine root cause.
• Prepare SDRLs and documents for Test Plans, Validation Plans, and related deliverables.
• Collaborate with outside vendors and suppliers.
