Marotta Controls in Parsippany, NJ, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the development of Special and Automated Test Equipment for the PAS business unit. The role emphasizes power electronics test systems, lab automation, and reliable hardware/software integration.

You will design test consoles, TE SRR/TE PDR/CDR, validate test procedures, troubleshoot equipment with vendors, and contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and mission-focused engineering.

Qualificações

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar is required
• 7+ Experience in Test Engineering / Test Equipment design for power electronics system testing
• Experience designing test systems utilizing a Test Console and Interface Test Adapter (ITA)
• Must be a US Citizen

Responsabilidades

• Design test systems including Test Consoles and Interface Test Adapters (ITA)
• Develop Test Equipment System Requirements (TE SRR), Test Equipment Design (TE PDR/CDR), and Test Equipment Validation Procedures/Reports
• Ability to use various laboratory equipment (e.g. power supplies, multimeters, and oscilloscopes) and automate testing utilizing said equipment.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and diagnose issues with test equipment systems and determine root cause and corrective actions (RCCA)
• Perform and complete SDRLs and other documents regarding Test Plans/Procedures, Validation Plans/Procedures, and other related engineering deliverables.
• Work with outside vendors and suppliers.
