Job summary

Marotta Controls, Inc is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to support the development of Special and Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for the PAS business unit, based in Parsippany, NJ. The role focuses on power supplies, motor control, and power distribution unit test systems.

Design test consoles, TE SRR/TE PDR/CDR, automate testing, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with vendors. A BS in Electrical/Software Engineering and 7+ years in test engineering are required; US citizenship is mandatory.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar is required.
• 7+ Experience in Test Engineering / Test Equipment design for power electronics system testing.
• Experience designing test systems utilizing a Test Console and Interface Test Adapter (ITA).
• Must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Design test systems including Test Consoles and Interface Test Adapters (ITA).
• Develop Test Equipment System Requirements (TE SRR), Test Equipment Design (TE PDR/CDR), and Test Equipment Validation Procedures/Reports.
• Ability to use various laboratory equipment and automate testing utilizing said equipment.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and diagnose issues with test equipment systems and determine root cause and corrective actions (RCCA).
• Perform and complete SDRLs and other documents regarding Test Plans/Procedures, Validation Plans/Procedures, and other related engineering deliverables.
• Work with outside vendors and suppliers.
