Job summary

Marotta Controls in Parsippany, NJ is seeking a Software Engineer to support the development of Automated Test Equipment for the Power and Control Actuation Systems. The role requires a background in embedded software development and hardware automation, with hands-on work across software and instrumentation.

You will design and implement GUI in C# with database backends, firmware in C with Code Composer, and work with LabVIEW Real Time and FPGA environments.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical or Software Engineering required.
• Experience in Test Engineering / Test Equipment design.
• Experience designing test systems with a Test Console and ITA.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop System Requirements Documentation and support the development life cycle (PDR, CDR, Validation, Fielding).
• Develop Software Design Documents (including Test Plans).
• Design and implement high level GUI Windows applications in C# with database backends.
• Design and implement firmware in C using TI’s Code Composer.
• Experience with LabView RT and LabView FPGA is a plus.
• Operate and program laboratory equipment used to automate testing.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and diagnose issues with test equipment systems.
