Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Test Engineering Manager 2 in Colorado Springs, CO to lead and manage a diverse team of test engineers across multiple scrum teams. You will plan, develop, and direct lab stand-up, design, integration, and operations activities, and synthesize customer needs into robust lab architectures that balance schedule and cost.

The role requires DoD Secret clearance and experience in integration testing, MBSE practices, and collaboration with systems,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of related work experience, or Master's with 6 years.
• Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance required at time of application.
• Experience in lab environments or test campaigns including planning, procedure development, execution and reporting.
• Familiarity with product integration, regression, and verification testing.
• Knowledge of system integration and test principles and processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a diverse group of test engineers across multiple scrum teams with technical leadership and functional management.
• Plan, develop, and direct lab stand-up, design, integration, and operations activities.
• Synthesize customer contractual needs into lab architecture and integration solutions balancing technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Develop and manage integration plans and lab budgets, ensuring compliance while integrating hardware and software units.
• Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment with defined tests.
