Job summary

AMD Design, LLC, a subsidiary of AMD, Inc., is hiring a Sr. Test Engineer to contribute to electrical and platform-level validation of server platforms. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test plans, verify functionality, and ensure production requirements are met.

Travel is not required. Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, or an equivalent combination with two years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Degree required
• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Alternate combination: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent and two years progressive post-baccalaureate experience.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to electrical and platform-level validation of server platforms.
• Develop and execute test plans to verify product functionality and electrical specifications.
• Perform debugging, identify root cause, and resolve issues as they occur.
• Interface with architecture, design, firmware, and system engineering processes.
• Track and summarize test results; contribute to automation efforts for validation.
