Job summary

AMD seeks a Lead System Validation Engineer for AI rack validation to drive comprehensive validation across AI server platforms. You will lead cross-functional teams in debugging OS, firmware, and silicon issues, shaping validation strategy and throughputs in a global, fast-paced environment.

As a senior technical leader, you will mentor engineers, advance automation and telemetry, and ensure test environments mirror hyperscale deployments, delivering high-quality AMD products on schedule.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in validation roles involving debugging OS, FW, Silicon and HW issues.
• Understanding of PCIe and CXL bus software stacks.
• Strong knowledge of X86, SoC design, memory, and RAS/power management.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Self-starter with ability to drive tasks to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead system-level, rack-level, and cluster-scale validation strategy for AI and machine learning server platforms.
• Define and drive comprehensive validation plans across scale-up and scale-out environments.
• Develop validation methodologies spanning CPU, GPU, memory, BIOS, BMC, networking, storage, OS and firmware.
• Collaborate with architecture, hardware, firmware, software, and platform engineering to close gaps and improve quality.
• Mentor engineers and drive automation, telemetry-driven workflows, and data-driven validation.
