Job summary

AMD Design, LLC, a subsidiary of AMD, is seeking a Sr. Test Engineer to contribute to electrical and platform-level validation of server platforms. You will execute test plans, perform debugging, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product functionality and production readiness.

Responsibilities include developing test specifications, tracking results, and driving automation efforts for validation across Unix/Linux environments, GPU/SoC/CPU architectures, and server systems.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Two (2) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.
• Experience in hardware and software verification, Unix/Linux environments, and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Verify electrical and platform-level test plans and execution.
• Debug, identify root cause, and resolve issues across software and hardware.
• Collaborate with architecture, design, firmware, and system engineering teams.
• Summarize test results and contribute to automation efforts for validation.

Job Role and Responsibility:

AMD Design, LLC, a subsidiary of AMD, Inc., is hiring Sr. Test Engineer to Contribute to both the Electrical and Platform-level validation of server platforms. Work with cross-functional teams to aid in developing as well as executing test plans which will verify product functionality, adherence to electrical specifications, and production requirements. Execute software stack and use case testing. Perform debugging, identify root cause, and resolve issues as they occur. Interface with architecture, design, platform, firmware, and system engineering process. Conduct test specifications, requirements, strategies, and methodologies. Track and summarize test results and collaborate in automation efforts for validation.
