Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) is hiring a Sr. Test Engineer to contribute to electrical and platform-level validation of server platforms. You will develop and execute test plans to verify functionality and adherence to electrical specifications, and perform software stack testing.

Additionally, you will debug, identify root causes, and resolve issues while coordinating with architecture, design, firmware, and system engineering teams. Travel is not required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree with two years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.

Job Role and Responsibility:

AMD Design, LLC, a subsidiary of AMD, Inc., is hiring Sr. Test Engineer to Contribute to both the Electrical and Platform-level validation of server platforms. Work with cross-functional teams to aid in developing as well as executing test plans which will verify product functionality, adherence to electrical specifications, and production requirements. Execute software stack and use case testing. Perform debugging, identify root cause, and resolve issues as they occur. Interface with architecture, design, platform, firmware, and system engineering process. Conduct test specifications, requirements, strategies, and methodologies. Track and summarize test results and collaborate in automation efforts for validation.

Qualifications: Degree required

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
