Job summary

Relativity Space is building rockets with a focus on autonomy and rapid iteration. The Stage Manufacturing team turns design into scalable production for Terran R, with engineers and technicians working side by side to deliver test-ready systems.

You will own test development across mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic domains, drive test campaigns, and collaborate with design and manufacturing partners to ensure efficient, scalable production testing while improving processes and reliability.

Qualifications

• BS degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical or manufacturing engineering with 3+ years of hardware testing experience.
• Experience authoring and executing test procedures for mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic assemblies.
• Experience partnering with design, manufacturing, and production teams to investigate test failures.

Responsibilities

• Own development, validation, and refinement of test assets and processes for mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Drive technical execution of mechanisms and integrated assembly testing through design integration, tooling, sequencing, and training.
• Provide technical leadership in workcenter development, guidance on assembly and test operations, and safety compliance.
