Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a hands-on engineer to lead and execute multi-disciplinary test activities for lunar vehicle subsystems. You will plan, execute, and review tests across fluids, thermal, electrical/electronic domains, and work closely with Integration Engineers and customers to ensure safety and performance goals are met.

Qualifications

• BS in Aerospace/Mechanical/Electrical field with related discipline.
• 5+ years of testing experience including fluids, electromechanical assemblies, or thermal control elements.
• Experience with test stands and fixtures.
• Experience with flight hardware, tools, and shop equipment.
• Familiarity with P&ID schematics and wire drawings.
• Strong communication and teamwork in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to review/test plans and safety assessments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute fluids/thermal test activities (development, qualification, acceptance, performance).
• Identify test needs, events, and required equipment.
• Work with instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
• Create/review test plans, procedures, safety assessments, schematics.
• Design, procure, and install test support equipment; manage vendors.
• Communicate risks, schedule, and costs; troubleshoot during testing.
• Coordinate test crews and vehicle configurations; enforce safety policies.
• Archive test data and ensure conformance with overall vehicle test plans.
