Job summary

Ent is seeking an experienced SDET to own end-to-end quality for new features across the operator portal, backend platform, and endpoint agent. You will build the frameworks and test coverage that gate releases, ensuring reliable, testable outcomes in a fast-moving environment.

The role involves Python/TypeScript, Playwright-driven parallel tests, and API/contract testing. You’ll collaborate with a distributed team and benefit from equity, flexible PTO, and remote work across North America.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software test, SDET, or quality engineering across UI, API, and integration layers.
• Built a browser end-to-end framework and integrated it into CI pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript with Playwright driving parallel tests.
• API and contract testing (Pytest, OpenAPI-driven).
• Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into gated coverage.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end testing for new features from acceptance criteria to runnable suites.
• Turn underspecified requirements into concrete pass/fail coverage.
• Architect and maintain operator-facing end-to-end frameworks and fixtures.
• Cover APIs and contracts across portal, platform, and endpoint agent.
• Report test status and close gaps for releases.
