Job summary

Ent is hiring a Test Engineer, Features, to own end-to-end quality for new features across the operator portal, backend platform, and endpoint agent. You will build and maintain test frameworks, drive automated and AI-generated test scenarios, and gate releases with robust coverage across UI, services, and integration layers.

The role emphasizes turning ambiguous requirements into concrete coverage, collaborating with a distributed team, and elevating testing practices in a security-focused

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software test, SDET, or quality engineering with end-to-end and API coverage.
• Built a browser end-to-end framework and integrated it into CI.
• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript with Playwright driving parallelized suites.
• API and contract testing (Pytest, OpenAPI-driven; Postman or similar a plus).
• Ability to turn ambiguous requirements into concrete, gating coverage.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end testing for new features from acceptance criteria to runnable suite.
• Review requirements and translate underspecifications into concrete pass/fail coverage.
• Architect and maintain operator-facing end-to-end frameworks and fixtures.
• Cover full journey across portal, platform, and endpoint agent including APIs and contracts.
• Curate automated and AI-generated test scenarios into trusted, runnable coverage.
• Report tested, failing, and at-risk areas and close gaps.
