Job summary

ENFOS, Inc. in Durham, NC is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer / SDET to own testing strategy for a scalable enterprise platform. You will combine exploratory testing with automated end-to-end coverage built on Playwright, validating REST backend integrations and maintaining tests in GitLab CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software QA or SDET roles.
• Expert-level Playwright testing skills and manual testing.
• Strong programming with TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Experience testing REST APIs and backend integrations.
• Familiar with GitLab and CI/CD workflows.
• Understanding of Agile practices and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the testing effort for new features from requirements through production release.
• Design, execute, and maintain manual, exploratory, regression, and end-to-end tests.
• Develop and maintain scalable automated tests using Playwright.
• Build tests within GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Review requirements for gaps and risks before development completes.
• Perform root-cause analysis for production issues and document bugs.
• Continuously improve automation coverage and QA processes.
