Job summary

ENFOS, Inc. is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer / SDET to join our Quality Engineering team. You will own testing strategy and end-to-end automation built on Playwright, ensuring quality for a platform used by leading industrial companies.

The role emphasizes AI-assisted testing, mentorship of junior engineers, and improving QA practices across the team. You will collaborate closely with Product, Development, and Business Analysis while delivering high-quality releases.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Software QA or SDET roles.
Expert-level Playwright testing knowledge.
Strong programming experience with TypeScript or JavaScript.
Experience testing REST APIs and validating backend integrations.
Experience with GitLab and GitLab CI/CD and scalable automation frameworks.
Experience with enterprise business applications.
Strong understanding of Agile and CI/CD practices.
Excellent debugging, analytical and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Own the testing effort for new features from requirements through production release.
Design, execute, and maintain manual, exploratory, regression, and end-to-end automated tests.
Develop and maintain scalable automated test suites using Playwright, and perform API testing.
Build and maintain automated tests within GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Review requirements to identify missing acceptance criteria, risk, and edge cases.
Perform root-cause analysis for production issues and create clear bug reports.
Continuously improve automation coverage and QA processes.
