Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Sr Test Engineer to validate data ingestion, processing pipelines, APIs, and cloud-based applications. You will lead functional, integration, and end-to-end testing, with strong SQL, AWS, API testing, automation, and CI/CD expertise.

Responsibilities include developing tests for medical device data processing, validating data across devices and cloud platforms, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or Master’s with 2+ years or PhD with 0+ years
• Strong programming experience in Java
• Hands-on automation using Postman / Ready API

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests for medical device data processing and cloud applications.
• Validate data ingestion, transformation, processing, and synchronization across devices, APIs, databases, and cloud platforms.
• Test AWS-based data processing services and validate data accuracy, integrity, reliability, and traceability.
• Perform API testing using Postman and automate test scenarios using Java/Python.
• Validate real-time and asynchronous device data flows from medical devices to cloud systems.
• Collaborate with software, firmware, cloud, data engineering, and product teams to resolve defects.
• Ensure testing activities comply with medical device quality, safety, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare test plans, test cases, test reports, defect documentation, and traceability evidence.
• Support risk-based testing, release validation, and production readiness activities.
• Continuously improve test coverage, automation, data validation, and overall product quality.
