Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Sr Test Engineer to validate data ingestion, processing pipelines, APIs, and cloud applications. You will work with data engineering and software teams to ensure data accuracy and system quality across devices and cloud platforms.

You will develop and execute functional, integration, and end-to-end tests, perform API testing with Postman, and drive test automation using Java or Python, while adhering to medical device quality and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or PhD with 0 years of relevant experience.
• Strong programming experience in Java.
• Hands‑on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Postman / Ready API.
• Strong knowledge in using AI tools.
• Experience testing across application layers, including UI, services, APIs, and backend components.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests for medical device data processing.
• Validate data ingestion, transformation, processing, and synchronization across devices, APIs, databases, and cloud platforms.
• Test AWS-based data processing services and validate data accuracy, integrity, reliability, and traceability.
• Perform API testing using Postman and automate test scenarios using Java/Python.
• Validate real-time and asynchronous device data flows from medical devices to cloud systems.
