Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Test Engineer to design and implement testing methods and equipment for insulin delivery pump/transmitter systems. The role is on-site in Northridge, CA with up to 30% travel, requiring strong communication and documentation skills and experience with lab/test environments and relevant equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with minimum 7 years of experience, or advanced degree with minimum 5 years of experience.
• Experience with test equipment such as DMM, spectrum analyzer, signal generators, power amplifiers.
• Familiarity with EMC standards and RF regulations (FCC, EN, CISPR) and FDA/ISO compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment.
• Write verification test plans and reports in compliance with FDA/ISO and global regulations.
• Support design verification activities for insulin delivery pump/transmitter systems and EMC testing.
