Job summary

Broadcom Inc. in San Jose, CA is seeking a Test Engineer to join our Semiconductor Test Engineering team. You will develop, debug, and maintain ATE test programs for production, characterization, and qualification of Broadcom’s SoCs and ASICs.

You will collaborate with design, product, and quality teams to drive test coverage, optimize test time, and deliver reliable, high-performance products from early silicon bring-up to high-volume manufacturing.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering.
• 8+ years of related experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of digital and high-speed test methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with ATE platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and maintain ATE test programs for production, characterization, and qualification.
• Perform pattern processing and conversion to tester formats.
• Characterize silicon across PVT corners and drive yield improvements.
• Collaborate with DFT, design, and product teams to close gaps in test coverage.
• Optimize test flows to reduce time and cost while ensuring quality.
• Support high-volume manufacturing ramps and production transfer.
