Broadcom Inc. is seeking an ATE Test Development Engineer for our San Jose Development Center in California.

You will develop test flows and validate test programs for advanced ASIC testing, contribute to failure analysis, and work with cross-functional teams to improve test coverage and reliability. Qualifications include 8+ years in ASIC test development, hands-on experience with Advantest/Teradyne platforms (SmarTest8 a plus), and strong data analysis skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in ASIC test development.
• Hands-on with Advantest and/or Teradyne testers; SmarTest8 a plus.
• Ability to independently develop test programs and complex test flows.
• Ability to debug/fix failures with cross-functional teams.
• Strong data analysis and programming for test methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop test flows and validate test programs at ATE.
• Create characterization tests to identify failing circuits at ATE.
• Develop screens to plug holes by building test programs.
• Drive R&D with innovative test methodologies for structural/functional tests.
• Support qualification tests and failure verification with specification searches.
• Analyze root causes with electrical/thermal analysis and present findings.
• Test parts, analyze results, and present reports to cross-team discussions.
