Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced hardware engineer in San Diego to validate and debug new silicon, develop ATE HW/SW, and characterize performance across process conditions.

The role collaborates across teams to create robust test methodologies for advanced packaging technologies and to deliver cost effective production test solutions. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in computer/electrical engineering and 3+ years of silicon bring-up or hardware experience;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer or electrical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years’ experience with silicon bring-up and high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience with test equipment and advanced packaging testing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Validation and debug of new silicon.
• ATE HW/SW development.
• Characterization of device performance across process and conditions.
• Develop test methodologies for advanced packaging technologies.
• Release cost effective production test solutions into mass production.
