Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Principal/Senior Principal Test Conductor at Edwards AFB, CA. Key responsibilities include developing and executing ground test procedures, supervising maintenance, and analyzing test data to drive engineering decisions.

The role requires active Secret clearance, flexibility for 4x10 or 3x10 shifts, travel, and potential eligibility for overtime, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in a system test and/or aircraft test/operational environment.
• Familiar with blueprints, engineering guidance, data collection, etc.
• Familiar with special test equipment such as oscilloscopes and network analyzers.
• Must have an active US Government Secret clearance (or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute ground test procedures and support active flight line testing.
• Conduct preflight and postflight power on checks.
• Provide first line engineering support for maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and modifications to systems under test.
• Provide supervision and direction to maintenance personnel for maintenance, repairs, and modifications to systems under test.
• Analyze and interpret test data, provide recommendations to engineering and leadership.
• Coordinate with support organizations in the execution and planning of a developmental test program.
• Support post-test data processing and analysis as needed.
• Willingness to work 4x10 or 3x10 schedules and to travel domestically as required.
