Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Principal/Senior Principal Flight Test Engineer for on-site work at Edwards AFB, CA. You will develop test plans, support integration testing, and coordinate with maintenance, design engineering, and test teams to ensure robust test readiness and data-driven decisions.

The role demands excellent communication, the ability to work independently or in a team, and willingness to travel up to 25% while supporting 100% on-site operations at Edwards AFB.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) degree.
• 5 years of applicable experience with BS or 3 years with MS in STEM field.
• Requires DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance and ability to obtain Special Program Access.

Responsibilities

• Develop and publish Integrated Test Plans, test schedules and procedures for developmental testing.
• Provide laboratory support for integration testing.
• Interface with design and test teams to define data requirements.
• Conduct pre/post-test data analyses and maintain testing metrics.
