Job summary

Northrop Grumman at Edwards AFB, CA seeks a Principal/Senior Principal Flight Test Engineer to join our Test and Evaluation group. The role develops and publishes detailed environmental control system test plans, execution strategies, and schedules for developmental testing, while operating in a flight test control room and providing lab support.

The position demands strong written and oral communication skills, experience with flight test environments, and the ability to work both independently

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline required.
Master's degree in STEM with relevant experience preferred.
Ability to obtain and maintain US Government clearance and SAP clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop and publish environmental control system test plans, acceptance plans, schedules, and procedures for developmental testing.
Operate in a flight test control room and provide lab/ground support for integration testing.
Support and host test planning working groups and define test configurations and data needs.
Review test requirements to ensure completeness of the program.
