Job summary

RTX (Raytheon Technologies) is seeking a Test Engineer to design and develop test hardware and software spanning requirements, integration, and deployment to production. Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. Active DoD clearance within one year of start date.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in engineering design and development, preferably related to Test equipment development

Responsibilities

• Develop test hardware and software from requirements through build and integration, then deploy to manufacturing or customer facilities.
• Demonstrate knowledge of computer architecture, COTS equipment, interconnects/interfaces and standard communication protocols.
• Work with mechanical engineering to design test adapters and fixturing; AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.
• Present work clearly at project status meetings and manage budgets, schedules, and performance commitments.
• Provide on-site troubleshooting and support manufacturing operations in collaboration with engineering teams.
