Job summary

Tin Can is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Test to own the end-to-end test strategy across the call-path, firmware and mobile apps. You’ll build automated SIP tests and establish verification that every release remains safe and reliable for families, including emergency calling checks.

You will work with voice, app, infrastructure, and firmware teams to shape CI/CD, test harnesses, and repeatable release testing across platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering, with deep experience in test automation for production systems.
• Built end-to-end test suites that engineers trust, with fast, deterministic results and CI integration.
• Comfort following a request across services, reading telemetry, and proving behavior through tests.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end and call-path test suites and the checks gate a release.
• Build automated SIP test calls in staging for pre-merge validation.
• Guarantee emergency calling with continuous verification to prove 911 reachability.
