Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to translate business and functional requirements into robust test automation and delivery outcomes. You will lead automation strategy, build maintainable test code, and integrate tests into CI/CD across a complex, multi-application environment.

Responsibilities include developing automated and manual tests for voice/IVR applications, partnering with dev and ops teams, and ensuring testability of requirements and stories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years related work experience
• 2–4 years with 3+ development languages (e.g., C#, Java, JavaScript)
• 2–4 years with 3+ automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Appium)
• 2–4 years with testing methodologies (e.g., TDD, BDD)
• 2–4 years with CA Service Virtualization or equivalent
• 2–4 years with issue-tracking software and agile project management systems
• 2–4 years with Unix/Windows environments or multi-tier applications

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated and manual tests for voice/IVR applications to measure product quality and support CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure requirements and user stories are testable and clarifications to support test design and execution
• Coordinate with development and operations teams to uphold testing practices and meet quality thresholds
• Design, develop, and maintain automation tools, systems, and test data to support development and testing activities
• Perform other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
