Job summary

TSI Incorporated is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer to lead the automation strategy for instrument and application software, designing scalable frameworks and ensuring quality across devices and platforms.

You will develop automated tests for APIs, UI, backend, and end-to-end scenarios, and embed testing deeply into CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with engineers and product teams. This role emphasizes problem-solving, code quality, and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development and/or test automation.
• Proficiency in automated testing for API, UI, backend, integration, and end-to-end scenarios using Playwright, Cypress, Appium, TestComplete, Bruno.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision for test automation across instrument and application software; design scalable frameworks.
• Engineer automated tests for software integrated with measurement instruments across domains.
• Build device simulators, mocks, and test harnesses for hardware-in-the-loop testing.
• Write automated tests for API, UI, backend, integration, and end-to-end scenarios across desktop, mobile, and cloud apps.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and optimize for speed and reliability.
• Mentor QA engineers; promote reusable libraries and continuous improvement.
