The role is technical and hands‑on, requiring deep expertise in mesh networking, dual‑band Wi‑Fi, and field testing.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience in connected hardware or IoT.
  • Deep knowledge of audio quality, jitter, packet loss, and dual‑band handoff.
  • Comfort digging into logs and firmware behavior to find root causes.
  • Experience partnering with firmware/embedded engineering teams.
  • Fluency with AI as a multiplier across diagnosis and testing.

Responsibilities

  • Own reliability and call quality as a core product problem.
  • Collaborate with firmware engineers to diagnose sound degradation.
  • Identify when fixes require hardware or firmware changes and influence roadmap.
  • Improve how devices connect and stay online, across environments.
  • Evaluate partnerships to accelerate improvements.
  • Build instrumentation and reporting to measure call quality.
  • Turn findings into a clear, actionable backlog for engineering.
  • Run tests in field and internal environments to validate fixes.
  • Communicate progress, outcomes, and next steps clearly.
