Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Construction Services Territory Manager to market, manage and underwrite commercial line business through select agencies or brokers. You will drive profit by developing, negotiating and executing business plans while collaborating with internal partners to grow Nationwide’s presence.

The role requires seven years in underwriting and sales, strong interpersonal skills, and a strategic, revenue-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Seven years of progressively more responsible underwriting and sales experience in commercial line business preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Relevant professional designation such as CPCU or CIC is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Markets Nationwide products and services to drive agency and company results.
• Develops business plans and coordinates agency visits to win new accounts.
• Underwrites and prices complex commercial line accounts within authority.
• Manages workflow and ensures timely service delivery across the territory.
• Builds strong relationships with agencies, producers and key groups.
• Drives pipeline management and strategic planning for profitability.
