Job summary

Abbott Park, IL or Princeton, NJ—Abbott Point of Care is seeking a Senior Specialist, Contracts and Pricing to bolster the US Sales team. You will craft contracts, negotiate terms, coordinate legal reviews, and align pricing with strategic goals to satisfy customers while following policies and regulatory guidelines.

You will analyze pricing, assess P&L impact, and support large customers with compliant contract execution, leveraging advanced Excel and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; minimum 4 years experience in contracts/pricing.
• Proficiency in MS Office and advanced Excel essential.
• Experience with contracting, pricing strategies and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own contract creation from start to finish with templates and custom language.
• Negotiate terms with internal and external customers.
• Coordinate legal review and business approvals of terms.
• Counsel field sales on terms meeting policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Develop pricing proposals and contract documents while ensuring compliance.
• Provide pricing analysis, P&L impact, and contract execution for large customers.
• Analyze contract performance and report against obligations.
• Apply critical thinking to resolve complex customer requests.
• Maintain urgency under deadlines and manage competing priorities.
• Contribute to other APOC priorities as needed.
