Merck is seeking a Senior Territory Representative to lead sales and market development across the eastern regions of the U.S. You will build strong relationships with veterinarians, producers, and distribution partners while executing strategic plans for growth.

The role requires deep knowledge of beef and dairy industries, excellent communication skills, and the ability to travel extensively across the territory to drive product adoption and customer value.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory business plans to drive sales growth across the assigned geography.
• Build and maintain relationships with veterinarians, producers, distribution partners, nutritionists, and industry influencers.
• Identify opportunities, market dynamics, and competitive threats; develop growth strategies.
• Drive demand generation and product utilization through customer engagement and field events.
• Collaborate with distribution teams and corporate accounts to align objectives and maximize territory performance.
• Apply consultative approaches to understand regional needs and deliver solutions aligning with Animal Health objectives.
