Job summary

Nordex SE in Chicago is seeking a seasoned Tender Manager to lead contract negotiations and risk mitigation across wind-project tenders. You will collaborate with the local Sales and PM teams to assess tenders, model costs, and advise on contractual interfaces.

The role requires strong commercial acumen, excellent communication, and readiness to travel in the USA and internationally as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in Sales engineering, project management, Business management or similar relevant experience.
5+ years of professional experience in comparable positions with multi-million-dollar contracts.
Contract negotiation experience in similar industries.
PM experience or heavy construction, preferably wind energy, turnkey projects.

Responsibilities

Lead contract negotiations for PM topics, virtually and in person with clients.
Provide risk identification, review, and mitigation to internal project review teams.
Provide cost calculations for project execution schedules and related topics (WTG installation, crane works).
Coordinate project schedules with planning, procurement and logistics teams.
Provide thorough handovers to execution teams.
Support clients and BOP contractors with PM questions during sales phase.
Represent Nordex to clients and maintain strong customer relationships.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
