Job summary

Millbury Federal Credit Union in Auburn, MA is seeking a Master Teller to oversee teller operations, supervise tellers, handle cash management, and ensure compliance with credit union policies. The role includes training staff, processing member transactions, and acting as back-up Teller Line Supervisor as needed.

The position is full-time with a schedule of Monday–Friday and some Saturdays, offering a competitive salary of $19.50–$23.00 per year plus generous benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; 2+ years’ teller experience.
• Detail oriented with strong problem solving and deductive reasoning.
• Knowledge of credit union policy and products.
• Ability to function as a team player.
• Typing and adding machine skills.

Responsibilities

• Process member transactions accurately including safe deposit access, cash advances, teller checks.
• In the line supervisor’s absence, manage teller line operations, cash flow, vault, breaks and proof.
• Answer questions and make supervisory decisions up to authorized limits.
• Maintain regulatory logs and audits at the teller line.
• Ensure secure teller station and adherence to security policy.
• Train tellers on procedures, security and retail issues.
• Post payments and payoffs to consumer loans; oversee teller equipment.
