Job summary

The Lead Teller will manage teller scheduling, observe regulatory procedures, train new staff, and contribute to achieving sales targets

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent business experience.
• Minimum 3 years of demonstrated superior client relationship skills.
• Minimum 3 years of cash handling experience.
• Working knowledge of Windows-based PC applications and calculator.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and foster teamwork.
• Strong organizational skills while managing multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Embodies a strong client experience culture, and coaches tellers to enhance client service.
• Acts as a resource to identify and resolve complex client servicing issues.
• Identify financial wellness opportunities and transition to a Banker when appropriate.
• Oversee teller line operations, scheduling, and coaching to meet standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and internal audit controls.
• Balance cash drawers and process cash transactions accurately.
• Support onboarding and training of new tellers.
• Work on Saturdays as directed by management.
• Maintain knowledge of product guides, fees, and policies.
• Promote bank products and services and achieve sales targets.
