Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) seeks a Senior Teller to lead teller and transaction operations in the branch, coaching frontline staff to deliver accurate, friendly service while adhering to bank policies.

The role oversees cash operations, vault management, and controls, providing guidance and training, and supporting audits and branch meetings as needed in a full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong knowledge of bank products and services.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to coach and influence without direct supervisory authority.

Responsibilities

• Model relationship-building and coach frontline staff on customer conversations.
• Lead teller operations, oversee cash handling, and ensure security compliance.
• Balance cash, reconcile discrepancies, and manage vault operations.
• Assist with account maintenance and regulatory reporting.
• Support branch staff with training and travel to other branches as needed.
