Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Telecommunication Technician 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit in Virginia. The role involves installing and maintaining telecom cabling, CCTV, DAS, fiber, and related systems across federal, local, and commercial customers.

Travel is expected up to 75% and eligibility requires active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Ideal candidates will have 6+ years of telecom experience, BICSI Installer 1 certification, and strong knowledge of OSP/ISP

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 6+ years in telecommunications installation/oversight of OSP/ISP copper, CCTV, DAS, fiber, cabling.
BICSI certification minimum Installer 1 for copper.
Experience with complex markets including Federal & Government facilities.
Knowledge of standards and ability to read plans and specs.

Responsibilities

Install telecommunications cabling and equipment per plans, specs, codes.
Gain knowledge of Telecommunication Systems incl. OSP/ISP Copper, CCTV, DAS, Fiber Optic.
Lead or support installation tasks for healthcare, government, higher-education, and mission critical facilities.
Remain compliant with safety regs and procedures on job sites.
Travel ~75% to job sites.
