Job summary

M9 Solutions is seeking a Telecommunications Technician 3 to work onsite in Chantilly, VA for a government contract. An active TS/SCI clearance is required. Responsibilities include installing communications cabling and equipment, performing QA checks, and maintaining a clean site.

Travel up to 50% each year and leadership of field teams are expected. Required qualifications include a TS/SCI clearance, a High School Diploma or GED, and 6+ years in related telecom experience with OSS/BSS cabling,

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6+ years of telecommunications experience in oversight and installation of OSS/BSS cabling and related systems.
• BICSI Installer 1 copper certification minimum; fiber certification preferred.
• Experience with CCTV, DAS, fiber optics, and structured cabling in diverse settings.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications, and lead field teams.

Responsibilities

• Install communications cabling and equipment per plans, specs, codes, and standards.
• Perform quality assurance checks on team work to ensure compliance.
• Maintain a clean work site and secure tools/materials daily.
• Travel up to 50% annually for assignments.
• Lead and coordinate field-project teams through installation processes.
