Job summary

TEECOM seeks a Principal, Consultant to lead multi‑discipline projects, mentor engineers, and strengthen TEECOM’s standards and tools. You’ll drive technical decisions, ensure design quality, and build trusted client relationships.

You will guide designers, engineers, and production teams, manage risk, and help win strategic work through clear communication and disciplined execution across projects and pursuits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred) or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in AEC or related professional services with strong discipline‑specific capability.
• Demonstrated experience delivering coordinated, high‑quality designs and making sound decisions within your discipline.
• Ability to lead discipline‑specific portions of complex, multi‑stakeholder projects with minimal oversight.
• Strong understanding of project delivery workflows, client expectations, documentation standards, and coordination requirements.
• Experience contributing to documentation updates, design standards, and QA/QC workflows through GitHub or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in Autodesk (AutoCAD, Revit), Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365 Suite, Google Workspace, and GitHub.

Responsibilities

• Lead discipline design, coordination, and documentation efforts—ensuring alignment with TEECOM standards and client expectations.
• Maintain visibility into project schedules, staffing, and scope alignment to protect quality and delivery momentum.
• Lead or participate in key client and coordination meetings, documenting critical decisions and risks.
• Conduct or contribute to design reviews and QA/QC efforts.
• Advance discipline standards and workflows through Pull Requests and documentation updates.
• Support pursuits by refining discipline scope, technical strategies, and fee inputs.
